New Story Schools in Kutztown, PA, is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students ages 5–21 with autism and challenges. You will work with teachers to assist with academic, behavioral, and daily living goals in a structured classroom.

You’ll provide direct support, implement IEPs under guidance, help with transitions and personal care, and track progress data. The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and consistent, calm participation to help each student succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay calm and consistent during challenging situations.
