Job summary

Martin Public School is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to assist in a K-12 setting. This role is part-time, with a schedule including full days and early release days, starting immediately.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or 60 college hours or ParaPro score (460) or can pass a test within 90 days. You will work one-on-one with students, adapt to needs, and report to principals.

CONTRACTUAL PERIOD & SALARY

• 2026-2027 school year potential schedule:
• Full school days: 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
• Early release days: 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
• ½ school days: 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highly recommended to possess one of the following requirements:
  • Associates degree
  • Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours at a college or university
  • Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 460)
  • Or successful completion of test in first 90 days
• Ability to meet and work well with people of all ages
• Establish warm and supportive relationships with children on a group and individual basis
• Record of good attendance and punctuality
