POSITION: Special Education Paraprofessional

START DATE: Immediately

CONTRACTUAL PERIOD & SALARY
  • 2026-2027 school year potential schedule:
  • Full school days: 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
  • Early release days: 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
  • ½ school days: 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Highly recommended to possess one of the following requirements:
    • Associates degree
    • Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours at a college or university
    • Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 460)
    • Or successful completion of test in first 90 days
  • Ability to meet and work well with people of all ages
  • Establish warm and supportive relationships with children on a group and individual basis
  • Record of good attendance and punctuality

  • Duties will be adjusted as students’ needs change
  • Other duties as assigned by building principals
