Job summary

Simsbury Public Schools is seeking caring, dedicated paraeducators to support students with diverse learning needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This is a full-time, 185-day position with a salary that reflects the collective bargaining agreement.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet one of the credential options listed, including 60 college credits or an associate degree. Excellent collaboration skills are essential.

Simsbury Public Schools is seeking caring, dedicated, and student-centered individuals to join our team as full-time Special Education Paraeducators. We have multiple openings at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Schedule: Full-Time, 185 days per year

Salary: $28.69 – $30.79 per hour (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement)

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students receiving special education services.

Be collaborative, flexible, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Applicants must meet one of the followingrequirements:

Have completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an accredited institution of higher education; or

Hold an associate degree (or higher); or

Successfully pass a state or locally approved assessment demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
