Job summary

North Polk Community School District seeks a special education paraeducator at West Elementary School in Polk City. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:25 am–3:10 pm, 7 hours daily, with compensation $17.82–$20.11 per hour depending on certification.

The North Polk Community School District is a progressive educational community located in the Des Moines metro area just north of Ankeny serving the communities of Alleman, Elkhart, Polk City, and Sheldahl. The District proudly serves over 2200 learners from preschool through 12th grade in five buildings (West Elementary, PK thru 2nd; Central Elementary, PK thru 5th, Big Creek Elementary, 3rd-5th, Middle School, 6th-8th; and High School, 9th-12th).

West Elementary School, located in Polk City, is seeking to hire a special education paraeducator. Individual must be flexible, collaborative, and willing to learn and grow.

Hours: 7:25 am - 3:10 pm Monday through Friday 7 hours per day

Compensation: $17.82 - 20.11/per hour depending on certification
