Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of higher education or evidence of ParaPro assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction of the special educator and classroom teachers.
• Support learners' Individual Education Plans under the direction of teachers and special educators.
• Provide support for individual, small group, and classroom size groups inside and outside the classroom.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, student support, and OT/PT to support learners.
• Partner with classroom teachers to meet each learner's needs.
• Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needs.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
