Job summary

SEK Interlocal #637 seeks a Special Day School Paraeducator at USD493 - RISE Center in Columbus, KS to assist in supervising and instructing students with significant disabilities in an intensive self-contained setting.

You will implement IEP goals, support health and safety, and provide behavioral interventions under the supervision of a certified special education teacher. Requires high school diploma and 48 college hours or Master Teacher Exam within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 48 college hours or Master Teacher Online Exam within 90 days.
• Experience in similar paraeducator role preferred.
• Must complete annual in-service trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students daily with health and personal care tasks.
• Implement behavioral and instructional plans under supervision.
