Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities and adaptive/life skills.
• Ensure safety and health needs of students.
• Provide social, emotional, behavioral and educational support.
• Assist with direct academic, functional and prescribed instruction.
• Advocate for students in least restrictive environment.
• Assist students with emotional regulation as needed.
• Encourage independence across settings.
• Collect data for functional behavior assessments as directed.
• Implement IEP components as required.
• Maintain safety during escalated behaviors and assist case manager/teacher with data.
