Snoqualmie Valley School District is seeking a Paraeducator III for Twin Falls Middle School. Anticipated start date: August 26, 2026. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:40 a.m.–2:40 p.m. (includes a paid break and a 30-minute unpaid meal break); Friday 7:40 a.m.–12:40 p.m.

Weekly hours: 31. Wage: $27.36–$31.97 per hour; 2026-27 PSE salary schedule. Under the direction of a certificated Teacher, the role mainly provides instructional support within a Special Education self-contained setting and may

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Candidates may meet additional qualifications: passing score on paraeducator assessments or hold an associate degree or higher, or have 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher, or have completed an apprenticeship registered with WA Apprenticeship Council.
• Upon hire, provide copy of HS diploma or transcripts and official postsecondary transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in a Special Education self-contained setting, individually or in small groups.
• Assist with behavior and personal hygiene needs of high-needs students.
• Work under the direction of a certificated Teacher and follow the attached job description.
