Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass the Paraeducator Assessment per State Regulations.
• Meeting the 64 college credit hours requirement may be accepted in lieu of a specific credential.
• Experience assisting certified teachers and supporting students with IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers in implementing instructional practices and routines.
• Support health-related procedures and health care needs of students as directed.
• Maintain safe, inclusive learning environments and monitor student progress.
• Keep accurate attendance and student records as required by district policies.
• Assist students with transitions, behavior plans, and participation in activities.
