Applitrack's Newport Middle School is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional II to support students aged 3 to 22 under the supervision of Special Education Teachers, delivering targeted instruction aligned to IEPs and assisting in classrooms or alternative settings.

You will employ varied teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and data systems to monitor progress, foster a safe, supportive learning environment, and collaborate with a close-knit team to help students reach daily goals.

Qualifications

Must hold or be eligible for NH Paraeducator II certification.
Background working with children in a school setting.
Foundational reading, writing, and math skills.
Understanding of child developmental stages and learning styles.
Knowledge of educational laws and safeguards; able to assist students safely.

Responsabilités

Empower student learning: guide children individually or in small groups through reading, writing, math, and life skills.
Foster a supportive environment with diverse teaching strategies and behavior management.
Collaborate for success as a core classroom team member.
