Position Type: Support Staff / Special Education Paraeducator

This is a full-time paraeducator position in a high school autistic support classroom, supporting the 2025-26 school year starting August 2025. Two positions are available.

Job Overview:

The special education paraeducator in an autistic support classroom provides instructional and behavioral support to students, assists with daily personal skills, and works under the direction of the teacher and supervision of the building principal and director of special education.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Experience working with children, strong organization, and communication skills

Additional Information:

• Starting pay ranges from $16.88 to $19.41 per hour, with credit for relevant experience
• No district-paid health benefits; coverage available for purchase at 100% employee cost
