Blazer Jobs is partnering with a San Francisco area school district to hire dedicated Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and medical needs in specialized settings.

Responsibilities include 1:1 and classroom support, personal care, and behavioral interventions under staff direction. A compassionate, reliable, and adaptable teammate thrives in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher required or preferred.
• Completion of at least 48 college credits and possession of a High School Diploma.
• Passing score on the CBEST and a High School Diploma.
• Passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam and a High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and classroom-based student support.
• Assist with toileting, diapering, hygiene, and feeding needs.
• Support students requiring G-tube feeding assistance.
• Implement behavior support strategies under the direction of school staff.
• Assist students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Support classroom instruction, transitions, and daily routines.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, nurses, and other school personnel.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:

• Associate's Degree or higher

• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral challenges, or significant disabilitiesComfort assisting with personal care and medical-related student support
• Experience working in Special Education or intensive support settings
