Job summary

Colchester is seeking two paraeducators to support students with special needs by providing instructional, behavioral, and personal assistance under the direction of a certified teacher.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with additional options; a 10-month position with benefits and salary in accordance with the paraeducator collective bargaining agreement. See full description for details.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one of the following: 60 college credits, Associate’s degree, or ParaPro passing score.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort using technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one of the following:
  • Minimum of 2 years of college credits (60), or
  • Associate’s degree, or
  • Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment*
• Successful experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong organizational skills and comfort using technology
