Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually or in small groups under supervision of professional staff.
• Assist with supervision of students in classroom, cafeteria, halls, and bus routes.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• Assist students with health needs under nurses' guidance.
• Prepare materials used in the educational process.
• Assist students at mealtime and in personal hygiene areas.
• Help get students to and from bus or car.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Other duties may be assigned based on building and district needs.
