Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold one of TA certificates (I, II, III, Initial, or Professional).
• Ability to defuse situations and prevent escalation.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral support per IEP/504 plans.
• Educate the whole student – academically, morally, socially.
• Implement curriculum and instruction tailored to students' needs resulting from disability (resource room, inclusion, pull-out).
• Attend professional development, trainings, and IEP meetings with the special education team and parents.
• Assist with the required compliance documentation.
