• Maintain accurate records and participate in annual evaluations.

Special Education Math Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. In Class Resource, Resource. Language & Learning Disabilities (LLD)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH), Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSWD) AND Math Specialization (5-8), Teacher of Mathematics
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

10 - Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
