ReNEW Schools is seeking a Special Education Learning Disabilities teacher for a part-time, 0.5 position at PrairieCare. The role is temporary through June 4, 2026, with prorated salary based on hire date and licensure level.
Qualified applicants will have a Minnesota PELSB license in the LD area or be eligible for licensure, with preference for those holding a full standard license in the subject/grade. Urban, multicultural education experience is desirable and supports professional growth.

Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required: K‑12 Learning Disabilities or Academic Behavior Strategist.
RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.
Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job‑embedded staff development.
Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
