Job summary

Rochester Public Schools seeks a Special Education - EBD/LD Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. The 1.0 FTE position is located in ESC Care & Treatment, with pay prorated by hire date and salary determined by education level and licensed teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota PELSB license in the appropriate area preferred and/or required for Grade K-12, Emotional Behavior Disorders and Learning Disabilities or Academic Behavior Strategist.
• Full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level preferred.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
• Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
• Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, and students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
