Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one instruction to children aged 3-5 in our CPSE program
  • Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over
  • Work in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and community locations
  • Maintain accurate records; submit evaluations and progress reports timely
  • Prepare progress reports per program timelines
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations, submitting records within deadlines

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with children and families
  • NY State certification/license: Students with Disabilities (Birth-2), Permanent Special Education Certification, TSHH, or TSLD (initial or professional)
  • Self-motivated, team player, patient, professional
  • Fluency in another language is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to cases using personal vehicle, public transportation, walking, or driving
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs
  • Lift 10 pounds regularly
  • Sit on the floor, kneel, or crawl for extended periods

Starting Rate: $68/hour. Compensation based on experience and education, discussed during interview.
