We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) dedicated Special Education Teacher Support Services professional to work in our Brooklyn locations. This role is ideal for a passionate educator committed to positively impacting a child's educational journey. The SETSS will work directly with students, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in their home environment.
  2. Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning needs.
  3. Collaborate with students' parents and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
  4. Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  5. Maintain detailed records of students' progress and communicate regularly with parents and the Motivated Care Services team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  2. New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
  3. Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a one-on-one setting.
  4. Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  6. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
