Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred and related coursework encouraged.
• Nine credits in education-related fields or 48 college credits with two years’ experience.
• ParaPro assessment or equivalent experience may be considered.
• No professional license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students in general and special education settings.
• Work with individuals and small groups; reinforce academic skills.
• Assist with accommodations, modifications, and classroom management.
• Foster student engagement and a positive inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise transitions and collaborate with staff to support social-emotional needs.
• Assist with clerical tasks to support instructional activities.
• Adapt to schedule changes and potential location changes as needed.
