Job summary

Edu-Aids LLC is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our Cincinnati, OH team. The role focuses on developing and implementing IEPs, delivering instruction in multiple settings, and adapting curricula to meet diverse student needs.

The ideal candidate holds a state Special Education certificate (Mild-Moderate or Moderate-Severe), a Bachelor's in Special Education, and prefers a Master’s degree with experience working with students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of settings, including one-on-one, small group, and whole class.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate students’ unique learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
