Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with coordinating instructional programs for special education students.
• Support implementation of students' behavioral intervention plans.
• Help plan and organize instructional activities and prepare materials.
• Maintain and file reports and confidential documents.
• Promote independence and self-determination for students.
• Assist with low/high-tech assistive technology and AAC devices.
• Coordinate student transitions between classes and assist with health care needs.
• Participate in district staff development and professional growth.
