Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires educational credential: Associate degree, 48 college credits, or ParaPro exam.
• Understanding of No Child Left Behind requirements for paraprofessionals.
• Ability to support instructional staff and follow lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students.
• Aid teacher in daily duties and classroom setup.
• Instruct students under teacher supervision and follow lesson plans.
• Supervise students during cafeteria, recess, bus, field trips, and other activities.
• Assist with data collection for student goals and progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or Teacher of Record.
