BROOKINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT 5-1 is looking for a full-time Special Education Instructional Assistant – Level 2 to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assist in behavior management. The role requires strong communication skills and a passion for working with special needs children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs and behavior disorders preferred.
• Possess the ability and desire to work with children in need of special education.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist in developing and implementing a behavior plan as described in the IEP.
• Help establish and maintain home-school communication.
