Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is hiring an Elementary Instructional Assistant I/II/III for Calendar 18A (9 months/year, 206 days/year, 5 days/week). The position is at Gold River with a 6-hour work day, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children.
• Ability to assist students in large and small groups in general or special education settings.
• California Class C Driver License within 30 days may be required for some programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in classroom with groups of students during lessons.
• Support students in both General Education and Special Day Class settings.
• Help with materials, setup, and student behavior management.
