Job summary

Glenbrook High School District 225 in Glenview, IL, seeks an Instructional Assistant - General Instruction to support the daily instructional program in the Special Education Department. You will collaborate with students, staff, and community partners and may provide individual or small-group instruction under supervision.

The role requires eligibility via a State Paraprofessional License (60+ college credits) or Substitute Teacher License; a valid driver's license is needed for community-based

Qualifications

State Paraprofessional License (60+ college credit hours or pass the Paraprofessional test) OR Substitute Teacher License.
Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based sites.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of the daily instructional program.
Collaborate with students, staff, and community agencies.
Provide individual or small group instruction under supervision of teachers or certified personnel.
