Job summary

Val Verde Unified School District is seeking a candidate to support students in a specialized learning environment. A High School diploma or GED with training in child growth and development, special education, or instructional technology is required, along with at least one year of relevant experience.

CPR/First Aid certification and a valid California driver’s license are also required. Applicants must pass the NCLB – VVUSD District Exam and complete the LEA section if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with coursework in child growth and development, special education, instructional technology, or related field.
• One year of experience with students in a specialized learning environment; experience with orthopedically handicapped students is desirable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification approved by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• California driver’s license and insurability for District.
• Pass the NCLB – VVUSD District Exam.
• Complete LEA section if applicable and list all previous/current school districts under LEA section.
