Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a paraeducator to support classrooms and provide 1:1 assistance for special education students in a North Los Angeles school district. The position runs Monday through Friday, typically 7 am to 3 pm, with both full-time and part-time options and multiple locations.

Responsibilities include assisting with academic and behavioral programs, monitoring student progress, and supporting teachers during the school day in preschool through high school settings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college courses.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Willingness to assist in students' learning process.
• Strong ability to work in a team environment.
• Great with kids.

Responsibilities

• Supports feeding, physical hygiene, and the physical needs of students, including toileting (if applicable).
• Implements educational and behavioral programming under supervision to develop new skills.
• Collects, monitors and communicates student progress and issues.
• Aids students in and out of the classroom, including note-taking and social growth.
• Supervises students in all school settings, may be required for before/after-school activities.
• Adapts accommodations for activities and materials to enable participation.
