Job summary

Melmark is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to assist in planning, assessment and development of IEPs/ISPs, teaching plans and progress monitoring. You will coordinate with districts, train staff in evidence-based methods and ensure PA standards alignment.

Requires PA Special Education Certification, Bachelor's in Education or related field, and a commitment to graduate within 2 years. The role is on-site with a year-round school program and salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education required.
• Special Education certification issued by PA Department of Education required.
• Master's degree must be attained within 2 years in the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Analysts in planning, assessment and development of IEPs/ISPs.
• Coordinate communication with sending school districts and LEA Directors.
• Coach and train staff in evidence-based instructional procedures.
• Assist with administrative projects as needed.
• Chairs IEP meetings and ensures documentation is up-to-date.

Bachelor's Degree in Education / Special Education

PA Special Education Certification

Master's Degree within 2 years in role
