Richfield Public Schools is seeking a part-time Districtwide Special Education Float Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports students with special education needs across the district in a rotating paraprofessional capacity.

Candidates must be highly qualified with one of three options: 60 credits, an Associate degree, or passing the MN ParaEducator assessment. The hourly pay ranges from 23.83 to 27.02, with a potential small increase for permanent rotating substitute

Job description

The Richfield Public School District is now accepting applications for a part-time Districtwide Special Education Float Paraprofessional - (2 Openings) for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements:

Must be highly qualified, providing supporting documentation; having 1 of the 3 listed below:

1. Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education (Transcripts).
2. Have an Associate's degree or higher (Transcripts).
3. Obtained a passing score on the MN-approved assessment ParaEducator, which measures math and reading skills (Certificate).

Hourly Rate:

$23.83 -$27.02 (Based on education and experience). Employees assuming a permanent rotating substitute position in special education will be paid an additional $.10 per hour.
