Qualifications

• State Certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Master's Degree in Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and contributes to IEP planning.
• Supports students with special needs in academics and daily living skills.
• Maintains accurate records of student progress and district reporting.
• Coordinates with PPTs, state/federal authorities as needed.
• Provides counseling and liaison between home and school.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and research.
