Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal history clearance (background check and HB 2062).

Responsibilities

• Assists students individually or in groups with instructional tasks, social-emotional skill development, and activities of daily living as assigned by the teacher.
• Works directly with student(s) with disabilities and disabling conditions.
• Assists students with the development of academics, communication, and functional skills (including feeding & toileting), appropriate behavior and self-regulation, personal hygiene, grooming, cleaning, etc. as per the students IEP.
• Supervises students in all school settings ensuring safety and security at all times.
• Provides supervision for and assists with arrival and departure routines, including riding bus routes and loading/unloading children from buses.
