Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Special Education Coordinator/Instructional Coach to lead and support high-quality instruction across schools near Bellwood, IL. This full-time contract runs through May 27, 2027, offering an opportunity to shape inclusive practices and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

You will facilitate IEP meetings, coach staff, and collaborate with administrators to expand services for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsements.
• A minimum of three years of experience in special education.
• Proven ability to facilitate IEP meetings and interpret special education law and policy.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive environments and enhancing student success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an instructional leader and compliance facilitator across assigned schools.
• Support and enhance special education instructional practices and staff development.
• Organize and facilitate compliant and effective IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with building administrators and instructional coaches to implement inclusive programming.
• Monitor and support adherence to federal and state special education guidelines.
• Coach and mentor special education staff to drive improved learning outcomes.
• Assist in expanding educational services and opportunities for students with disabilities within the district.
