A leading educational institution in Ohio is seeking a Special Education Coordinator to oversee the implementation of special education programs. This role requires a Master’s degree and experience in teaching and administration. Duties: To assist in the implementation of school policies and procedures related to Federal and State Laws for Special Education and 504. The position is responsible for assisting in the planning, administering, and directing of the district’s special education programs. It supports and assists in the implementation of policies and procedures, helps staff comply with state and federal regulations, and supervises departmental personnel to implement and maintain special education programs for students aged 3 to 21.
Experience Required: Candidates should possess a Master’s degree or equivalent, appropriate Ohio Department of Education administrative licensure, or the ability to obtain it. Three years of teaching experience and administrative or supervisory experience are preferred. This is a 208-day position.
Wage or Salary: Salary is based on experience.
Approximate Work Hours or Days: 208 days annually.
