Primary Purpose:To provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of special education services as assigned; including program development, curriculum, teaching techniques, instructional arrangements, special materials and supplementary aids and services aimed at improving the provision of services in the Least Restrictive Environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise and evaluate the performance of central teachers/therapists and paraprofessionals as assigned by the Director of Special Education in accordance with Board Policy and Procedures.
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of Professional Supervisor Personnel.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Tools/Equipment Used : Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals
Posture: Standing, prolonged sitting, occasional kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may also require climbing stairs and reaching overhead
Lifting: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); May require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (15-45 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent district wide or in-state travel; all campuses are temperature controlled with hard surface floors
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress

2024-2025 Salary Range Min. $77,418 Mid. $92,452 Max. $107,489 (Based on previous experience)
2025-2026 Salary schedule with 3% of midpoint increase approved by the Board. Salary schedule soon to be released.
