Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Para-Pro Praxis exam passage required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to classroom teachers or substitutes in accomplishing educational goals.
• Assists with attendance and lunch counts.
• Assists with student supervision in the classroom, cafeteria, playground, during arrival/dismissal and on field trips.
• Conducts one-on-one tutoring or small group instruction under teacher supervision.
• Assists with administering tests and quizzes and with grading of homework and posting grades.
• Operates duplicating equipment and prepares instructional materials; maintains inventory.
• Assists with parent communications and routine classroom preparations.
• Assists with medication administration documentation as required.
• Attends staff meetings and in-service training.
