Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to classroom teachers or substitutes in achieving educational goals.
• Assist with attendance and lunch counts.
• Supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, playground, and during transitions.
• Under teacher supervision, conduct one-on-one tutoring or small group instruction.
• Assist in administering tests and quizzes and in grading homework and posting grades.
• Prepare and distribute instructional materials, operate duplicating equipment, and maintain inventory.
