• Designs instruction with lesson plans and accommodations for diverse learning needs to engage all students.
• Guides and supports student learning with clear goals and math, literacy, and state standards alignment.
• Evaluates student progress using assessments and adjusts teaching to improve outcomes.
• Implements current best-practice instruction and instructional resources to improve learning outcomes.
• Maintains accurate student data, reports, and teaching certifications as required by policy and state/federal laws.
• Manages classroom structure, routines, and behavior to create a safe and effective learning environment.
• Models professional conduct, communication, and respect for diversity in interactions with students and staff.
• Oversees instructional assistants and volunteers; participates in meetings to share information and plan.
