Responsibilities

• Collaborates with all stakeholders (e.g. students, parents, colleagues) for the purpose of establishing and maintaining leadership and positive relationships while focusing on high expectations and continuous improvement for student learning.
• Designs instruction (e.g. lesson plans; individualized instruction; diverse learning styles/needs) for the purpose of ensuring all students are engaged and participating in learning objectives.
• Develops and guides learning in partnership with students to ensure continuous improvement aligned with standards.
• Evaluates student and class performance by analyzing assessments and data to adjust instruction.
• Implements current best practice instruction to improve student learning.
• Maintains documentation and required reports for compliance with statutes and regulations.
• Manages classroom structure and procedures to create a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Models professional conduct and inclusive behavior aligned with district goals.
• Oversees assistant staff to support classroom operations.
• Participates in meetings to share information and support student progress.
