Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the listed qualification paths.
• Ability to work with students eligible for special education and maintain classroom records.
• CPI training or willingness to be trained is required/desired.
• ABA training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small group instruction and tutoring as requested by the teacher.
• Support classroom management and assist with materials and setups.
• Handle attendance and related clerical tasks.
• Escort students and monitor safety during school activities.
• Provide assistance with behavior management and social skills development.
• Maintain accurate progress records for students.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; special education support

Associates or Bachelor's degree or 60 credits or CDA option

Passing scores MTTC/WorkKeys/ParaPro

CPI non-violent crisis intervention training or willingness to be trained

ABA training desired
