Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with children with special needs.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher and classroom staff in maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
• Assist students in health-related activities including therapeutic feeding, toileting and positioning in adapted equipment.
• Collaborate with classroom team in designing lesson plan activities for children with special needs.
• Maintain accurate classroom documentation (attendance, health checks) per Coleman policy.
• Transport students to and from school ensuring seating and equipment are secure.
• Support operations of the school as assigned by School Administration.
