Job summary

ESC of Eastern Ohio is seeking a Classroom Educational Aide for Multiple Disabilities & Emotionally Disturbed Classrooms. This position assists the special education teacher in implementing IEP goals in small groups and individual settings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a high school diploma, and an Educational Aide Certificate. Responsibilities include helping with classroom management, maintaining records, and supporting student needs during activities.

Qualifications

• Complete and obtain a positive BCI and FBI fingerprint background check.
• Experience in proficiency with Google Applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce curricular and behavioral activities assigned by the teacher.
• Assist with implementation of classroom behavior management programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with computer applications

Exceptional organizational skills

Ability to promote positive internal and external customer relations

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Educational Aide Certificate with ESEA Qualified Endorsement
