Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of college (48 semester hours) required.
• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers in instructing and supervising students with disabilities.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up classrooms for activities.
• Supervise children in classroom and other areas; reinforce classroom lessons.
• Coordinate special projects and programs as assigned under supervision.
