Job summary

Caesar Rodney School District in Delaware seeks a full-time Case Manager for the 2026-2027 school year (10 months) to develop and sustain high levels of student achievement, teacher quality, and parent engagement within Countywide Programs. Responsibilities

• Schedule IEP annuals, evaluations, and parent/administration requested IEP meetings.
• Serve as administrator/designee to conduct IEP meetings and other duties as assigned by Administration.
• Ensure IEP compliance with dates, scheduling/timelines, funding needs, and Indicator 13.
• Coordinating and support the scheduling of all special services listed on student IEPs.
• Support for teachers across content areas (curriculum, instruction, data collection and classroom environment).
• Facilitate parent involvement/family engagement activities at the Countywide Programs.
• Collaborate with the Administrative team to design and lead professional development sessions for staff.
• Serve as a resource person to assist in supporting district initiatives as it pertains to the Countywide Programs.
• Collaborate with other building case managers and district level staff to ensure vertical articulation of best practices in special education.
• Support administration in processing referrals, intake meetings, and providing historical information for new students.
• Attend in and out of district IEP Team meetings as a CRCWP representative.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

This is a full-time Case Manager position at Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs for the 2026-2027 school year. The Case Manager will provide support in developing and sustaining high levels of student achievement, teacher quality, and parent engagement opportunities to foster a positive school learning environment for all students, teachers and parents. (10 month position)

Individuals who are eligible or possess Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Autism certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates must apply online. Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably in special education.
• Possess or be eligible for Delaware teaching certification (Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Grades K-12) and Teacher of Students with Autism or Students with Severe Intellectual Disabilities certifications required)
• Must possess strong communication, organization, interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
