Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools seeks an ESS Campus Coordinator to lead special education on a K–8 campus and ensure FAPE in LRE while maintaining compliance with IDEA, 504, MTSS, and Nevada regulations.

You will coach staff, monitor programs, collaborate with families, and represent the LEA in meetings. The role emphasizes instructional leadership and program improvement in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Nevada teaching certification in Special Education.
• 3–5 years of successful teaching experience in special education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with general and special education staff to plan, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
• Provide modeling, co‑teaching, and coaching to support inclusive settings.
• Assist in analyzing student data to inform instruction and progress monitoring.
• Ensure IEPs comply with IDEA and Nevada guidelines.
• Serve as LEA representative at evaluations and meetings.
