Job summary

The Melvindale Northern Allen Park Public Schools are seeking a T-2 Special Education Bus Aide to assist with student transportation and safety during bus rides. You will support drivers, supervisors, and school staff to maintain order and ensure well-being.

Candidates must be able to work with handicapped students of all classifications and maintain regular attendance. This is a 40-week per year position with pay as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Work cooperatively with drivers, transportation supervisor, staff and the public.
• Present a positive image as a district representative.
• Maintain student order to ensure safety rules are followed.
• Observe Board policies and district work rules.
• Ability to work with handicapped students of all classifications.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities
