Qualifications

• Ohio Educational Aide Certificate (may be obtained after employment).
• Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in completing academic assignments and self-help tasks toward IEP goals.
• Work with small groups of students to reinforce material.
• Accompany students on class field trips or community experiences.
• Serve as a resource to the evaluation team regarding assigned students.
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
• Assist students with daily tasks requiring physical and personal help.
• Establish supportive and sympathetic relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
