Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking an assistant teacher to support K-12 students with special needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work with the teacher to deliver small-group instruction, monitor progress, and help implement SESI’s CASE PBIS framework to create a positive learning environment. Requirements include a high school diploma (college experience or bachelor’s preferred) and a valid driver’s license for student

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to perform student transportation using school van.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with small-group instruction and daily activities.
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to families and teachers.
• Apply behavior support strategies and assist with assessments as needed.
• Supervise students and support safe transitions between activities and locations.
