Job summary

BASIS Leander is seeking a qualified Special Education Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities in general education, small groups, or 1:1 settings under the guidance of the SPED teacher and ESS Coordinator.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred CPI/TEA paraprofessional certification and 1+ year of related experience. BASIS Ed provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities in general education, small groups, or 1:1.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and progress.
• Prepare and organize resource materials for individual students or small groups.
• Provide progress reporting to SPED teachers and ESS Coordinator.
• Assist in implementing IEPs under supervision.
